We attempt to match relevant funding opportunities with each researcher’s area of interest and encourage researchers to hold personal counseling and guidance meetings with our staff. Please contact us to get started!
We strongly encourage researchers embarking upon a collaborative project to connect with us for guidance and assistance.
Ichilov Hospital collaborates with major educational institutions and research centers in Israel and abroad. Collaboration agreements must be:
1. Established within an appropriate frame of work
2. Tailored to the scientific contents of the application and to pre-existing ties between Ichilov Hospital and the collaborative body.
Support at Ichilov
Success in being awarded a research grant is largely dependent upon application quality and suitability to call requirements. Our team is here to review proposals and funding requirement compliance and, when required, provide scientific editing and budget planning assistance. We also encourage you to register ahead of time to our annual Research Grants Writing & Scientific Writing Workshops.
External Resources
Our office is also associated with major funding agencies in Israel and abroad (European Union, Germany Israel Foundation etc.) who facilitate grant workshops. Information about upcoming external opportunities will be made available via our website, calendar, and communication channels.
After receiving an agreement from a grant agency, we encourage you to send it to our office for review with a revised budget accommodating the final funds allocated (often the final amount of money allocated will differ from the amount requested in the application). Our legal unit will review the agreement to secure your rights and IP.
Once the agreement is fully signed, our office will open on your behalf an internal research fund account, from which you will be able to use your research funds in accordance with your authorized budget.
