The Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center's patient-focused approach is a hallmark of its personalized care delivery.

International patients are assigned an International Patient Coordinator to support them throughout their hospital stay. In order to make the patients' experience a positive one, the Patient Coordinator serves as the patient's personal resource to assist with visit-related issues and to discuss concerns about diagnosis and treatment.

 The Coordinator helps patients with all pre-visit arrangements - procedure scheduling, financial clearance, accommodation planning, and travel preparations. He or she greets the patient and family upon arrival and escorts the patient throughout the Medical Center.

The Coordinator speaks the patient's language: English, Russian, French, Hebrew, Arabic, etc. to help the patient understand the treatment plan, explain specific procedures, and answer questions. For patients speaking other languages, TASMC may arrange for an interpreter during phone consultations or medical appointments.

Recognizing the extensive needs of international patients seeking treatment diagnostic evaluation, or clinical consultation at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, the entire multidisciplinary care team is dedicated to optimizing the patient's entire experience and care.
